ClozeLoop integration guide for Google Calendar
The ClozeLoop Google Calendar integration connects the meeting agendas you keep in ClozeLoop to the real meetings on your calendar. ClozeLoop can find the meeting an agenda belongs to, schedule one when it does not exist yet, put the agenda link on the invite, and reschedule it. This guide covers connecting, using, and removing the integration. How ClozeLoop handles the data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Open a meeting agenda in ClozeLoop and the calendar card shows the matching meeting from your calendar, with its time and who is invited. From that card you can:
ClozeLoop reads only your own primary calendar, never deletes an event, and never changes an event you have not connected to a ClozeLoop agenda.
If the card cannot tell which meeting the agenda belongs to, it lists the meetings around that date and asks Which meeting is this one? Pick one and the agenda is linked to it from then on.
You can disconnect from either side.
Either way the stored token is revoked and deleted and ClozeLoop no longer has access to your calendar. Meetings already on your calendar stay on your calendar. Agendas and notes stay in ClozeLoop.
The details of what ClozeLoop reads, what it writes, what it stores, and for how long are in the Google Calendar Integration section of our Privacy Policy.
ClozeLoop's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The calendar card does not appear. The integration is not switched on for your ClozeLoop workspace yet. Contact support.
The card says nothing was found for that day. ClozeLoop looks at your primary calendar around the agenda's date. Check that the agenda's date matches the meeting, and that the meeting is on the same Google account you connected. The card shows which account that is.
The card asks you to reconnect. Google expires a connection when access is removed on the Google side, or after a long gap while the app is still in testing. Click Reconnect and approve again.
The agenda link is not on the invite. Only the meeting organizer can change a meeting's description. If someone else organizes the meeting, copy the agenda link from ClozeLoop and ask them to add it, or paste it in the invite yourself if you have edit rights.
